History
Douro-Dummer, Ontario was originally inhabited by the Mississauga Anishinaabe people. European settlers arrived in the early 1800s. Douro-Dummer Township was formed on January 1, 1998, through the amalgamation of Douro and Dummer Townships.

Beaches, Parks & Trails
Douro-Dummer Township in Ontario offers a variety of parks and recreational activities for visitors and residents alike. From baseball fields and soccer fields to playgrounds and public beaches, the township provides a range of amenities for outdoor fun and relaxation.
Warsaw Caves
The Warsaw Caves Conservation Area is a popular destination in Douro-Dummer. It features a network of caves and hiking trails for visitors to explore and enjoy, along with camping and other outdoor recreational activities.
Douro-Doings
Occurring on the Labour Day weekend, this annual event takes place featuring a baseball tournament, 10km run, car show, friendly competitions, home-cooked meals, and a chance to win a handmade quilt.
Warsaw Lions Cruise Nights
Every Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lions Park in Warsaw, from May to August. Featuring classic cars, motorcycles, music, BBQs, 50/50 draws and prizes.
Stoney Lake Combo
An annual fishing tournament in late September that is organized and run by the Volunteer Fire Department.
Winter Skating
Public skating is available annually from late September until the end of March at their two indoor skating arenas, the Douro Community Centre and the Dummer (Warsaw) Community Centre.
