Where do I begin and try to explain the benefits of working at a Brokerage like CENTURY 21 United? It starts with the entire office! From the leadership and ownership of Vanessa Oake Hogan, who was mentored and preceded by her father Carl Oake with over 40 years of priceless experience and knowledge he has paved a way for Vanessa to step in, excel and take the company to all new heights.

The Management, Doug Lytle who’s years of experience both as a practicing agent and in management has given him insight and skills to help train and coach agents to plan their business, overcome obstacles, set goals and achieve them. Sharie Henning, although unknown to most other agents from other brokerages, is like the heartbeat of the company, she is management, she is deals/accounting, licenses/insurance, RECO compliance, agent care, and how can I forget the one who writes our cheques on payday. Also the endless amount of support an agent receives from the front desk ladies, to the rest of the administration, deals secretary, marketing and promotion, and agent care staff, right down to our sign guy (Dan Lee). I guess what I’m trying to say is that all of these people I have mentioned are there for the entire purpose of paving the way for successful agents to focus on what they do best, and that’s selling homes. All of the people I mentioned above are an asset to the company that brings knowledge, experience, professionalism, hard work and care to the agents.

I have been in the industry for over 17 years of which I spent approximately 1.5 years at another local brokerage working with a large team and I didn’t feel half of the comfort, support or unity as a whole office as I feel at C21. Ultimately I have been with C21 from the beginning and will be for the duration of my career. C21 is a world-leading brand and a company to be proud of. The office vibe is very much a family feeling and a place of friendliness, inclusiveness, and happiness, a place where although we are all competing daily you feel a sense of team responsibility, respect and care from all of the agents.

The more I write this the more I realize it’s the people and agents at C21 that truly make it a special place to work and grow your business. I know this is a little long-winded but it’s important to point out all of these people and some of their roles, to truly give you an idea of what it’s like to work at C21. I can speak for myself when I say that I don’t know if I would’ve found half the success I have in this career if I was anywhere else.
