Otonabee-South Monaghan is a township in central-eastern Ontario, in Peterborough County, known for its rich agricultural heritage, thriving rural communities, and scenic natural landscapes.

History

Otonabee-South Monaghan Township was originally inhabited by the Mississauga Anishinaabe people. It was settled by Europeans in the early 1800s. Otonabee-South Monaghan Township was formed on January 1, 1998, through the amalgamation of Otonabee and South Monaghan.
